FIX YOUR SLEEPING PATTERN - Spike

Try getting up early , it surely is a daunting task to get up an hour or two before your usual sleep cycle, but sometimes all it takes is that effort to show up for yourself every morning .

Here are a few ways which can help you get up early and feel energized all day.

 

  • Get your clothes ready : It can be a difficult task for you to get up early morning and find your gym wear , therefore arrange your workout outfit before sleep .  

  • Prepare Your Meals 
  • Yes ! just like your clothes , prep your food ,  Making your meal in the night before and simply keeping it in the fridge until you need it is a simple fix that won’t save you a lot of time, but will help you focus on your mental game by limiting your multitasking before you’re fully awake.

  • Set multiple Alarms : Most of us already do this , and It will be helpful for your morning routine .  Setting an alarm after 15 – 20 minutes , will trick you to feel enough rested . But make sure that you don’t stop the alarm in order to sleep more.

  • Sleep for enough hours : It is a simple task , try sleeping 7-8 hours before you need to wake up . If your body will have enough sleep , there are less chances of you to feel lethargic in the morning .  It may look like not a big deal , but try sleeping in for 6 hours for three days straight , and then 8 hours of sleep for the next three days . You will clearly be able to feel the difference that sleep makes on your overall health .

  •  Keep your phone or alarm away from the bed :Yes , you heard that right , it will be then difficult for you to physically get up to turn off your loud alarm , than simply snooze it . This trick can work wonders if you are trying to get up early .
  •  Turn on the lights :This can be extremely irritating but turn on the lights as soon as you get up . This will help you to turn on your brain faster than staying in the dark .

  • Make coffee an ally :  A cup of coffee will take approx. 30 minutes to fully make you active , caffeine is a great idea to get you energized .  Start with a small dose initially  but do not exceed upto 200- 400 mgs of caffeine .

There are a lot of tips and tricks that can be helpful for you to achieve your workout and fitness goals , however the best option is to stick to your routine and stay dedicated .
